What is Forex?

Forex is the foreign exchange market which is used for the exchanging of currencies. It includes all aspects of buying, selling and exchanging currencies at current or determined prices.

There is approximately 5 trillion dollars traded across the forex market every day and open 24 hours a day 5 days a week, this makes trading very attractive for traders as it can create high profits in a short time frame.

How is it traded?

Unlike the stock market currencies are bought and sold in pairs, whereas the stock market you buy or sell a single stock. When trading currencies we are comparing one price to another.

This means that we profit from when one currency increases in comparison to another. In the foreign exchange market we make a profit from predicting which way the market could go.
